He lived all the way at the very, very edge of the small town, probably in the most worn down apartment complex ever - but that was beside the point. For once, he just wanted to get a change of pace. Most of the time he went to the downtown bars for a wild time, but he thought he'd give poor Reagan a break from his... well uh... Lee-ness to put it simply. Last night she looked like she was going to have an aneurysm as he irritated her.
So he ventured to the higher scale, fancy bar. Lee wasn't sure what to expect. He wasn't a regular here, but the last time he'd come around to this dive bar, it seemed kind of... dead. Then again, he had come at an odd hour that time (how many people craved drinks at six in the morning?) Tonight it seemed a little busier than the last time he was here - understandable since it was getting to be a prime time hour for people to start to come socialize.
Still, Lee was content to take it a little easier tonight. While he usually was okay with getting wasted, he wanted to see if he could maybe get a gig here on an open mic night - and he needed to at least be somewhat coherent till the manager of the place showed up.
He got a tip from the bartender on duty that the big boss would be around in a few hours, so, with a shrug, Lee sat himself next to someone and ordered a couple of shots of scotch. May as well get started. So long as he didn't overdo it right away, he should be fine, right?
Looking at the companion beside him, he noticed a camera around his neck first, then, his ever so curious eyes ventured upwards to the stranger's face. Oh... well, he wasn't bad looking. No, not bad at all. With a mischievous sneer, Lee slid one of the shots over to the guy sitting next to him, "Drink's on me."

Well, it was done. Matthew smiled and closed his eyes, thinking about the apartment he'd just settled into. He was quick to buy all he needed, having been funded from his college fund his father had saved up. He knew his dad was proud he was out of the house, and even if it was stupid they'd still made arrangements for him to call often and check in, just to make sure. Though it was slightly irritating at time for his dad to be so worried he understood, no need to lose someone other than his mother right? After spending the whole day working on setting the place up, he'd stretched his muscles, feeling the joints popping from strain, and decided to go out. Celebrate the victory of moving out.
Now he could go out and party all night, and he had his own place to crash at. Grinning at the thought he settled at the bar of the first place he saw, might as well check it out since he just got there right? Before he could figure out what he was craving, he was thinking maybe rum, he glanced to his side and noticed his new companion. Lips twitching into a smirk he accepted the offered shot with a nod. "Thanks, so you from around here? My name's Matthew Gray, you can call me Mattie." He flashed a smile and downed the shot, feeling the liquid slide down his throat and grimacing slightly.
The pleasant hum in his stomach was familiar and welcoming, and he decided at that moment it was a great night to get cocked. He studied the man next to him, and fingered the camera around his neck. "Hey. You're pretty cute, can I take your picture?" He knew the man's face would end up being an inspiring image later on in the night when he stumbled back home and painted drunk. If he had to admit it, he wasn't that bad with a brush cocked at 4 in the morning. He pondered this for a moment and smiled again, watching the man next to him for a reaction.

Most of the time his flirtatious attitude would earn him a punch to the face - especially if he was flirting with the same gender and they happened to be straight - but this guy, Mattie he said his name was, was being pretty receptive.
That changed all his plans for tonight in one quick moment. He could always come back tomorrow to talk to the manager. Besides, he had enough money right now. A little gig hardly brought in dough anyway... trying to bring this guy home for the night... that just sounded much more rewarding.
"Mattie? Cute nickname~" He grinned, raising his glass to the other for a moment before drowning it himself. He gave a little shudder as the liquor heated him from the inside out. Damn... these uptown bars sure had some primo stuff. Perhaps he should come out to this place more often. "The name's Lee. I've been here a few years, yeah. California boy at heart, though. I haven't seen you around before. You new?"
The next question took him off-guard though. Lee wasn't really used to being photographed - not that he minded that much. If there was one thing he prided himself on it was looks (he took more time in the morning getting ready than most stereotypical females, after all). It was just a strange request right off the bat, he thought. Still, the shock wore off almost as soon as it had come, and with a cool smirk, he shrugged, "Why not? Just don't go photoshopping my face onto a naked body and posting it online."

"Glad you think so." He winked at the friendly figure and leaned back in his seat. He closed his eyes momentarily and proceeded to repetitively zip and unzip his sweatshirt. Of course as he did this is revealed then covered his bare chest, he wasn't one to wear shirts under his sweatshirts often. He preferred function over form, and the sweatshirts he owned were all very soft.
"I'm from further north, same state. Just came in here couple weeks ago and decided to settle down for a while. Place seemed nice and artist friendly." He scratched at a splotch of oil paint staining his left hand. It was nice on canvas but a bitch to deal with on skin and clothes. "Kind of need someone to show me around, you think you would be interested?" The underlying tone in his voice implied he wanted a lot more than just being shown around town. And hey, he had a new apartment all of his own so who knows maybe he'd have this cute face for a night?
Grinning happily he raised his camera, fiddling with the settings for a moment before the flash went off and he captured Lee's face. "If your face is going to be on a naked body" He flashed a glance at the man next to him. "It'll be your own naked body." He was taking a chance here by being so forward, he just hoped it wouldn't bite him now.

The damn guy was a tease... Well two could easily enough play at that game. Lee took the gesture as an unspoken challenge, eyes darkening as he not-so-discreetly looked Mattie over. "Alcohol heating you up too much? Don't tell me... you're a lightweight?"
He gave the other a devilish sneer at his suggestion. Show him around? Lee could tell by the tone in his voice that he had a completely different idea in mind.... Well good. His night was set after all...
And yet... why let Matthew think he'd won so soon?
"Perhaps I can work you into my... busy schedule..." But before he could make another flirtatious remark, he suddenly was blinded by the light of the camera. Blinking a few times, it took him a few moments to realize he'd been photographed, "Fuck, I wasn't prepared for that... delete it!" Well, so much for keeping up his suave demeanor. He reached for the camera desperately, like it was some sort of lifeline. He probably looked like a moron in there, eyes closed and everything.
Lee's hand caught the wrist of the others' when he made the most forward comment of the entire night, "Damn..." he mumbled. "Cutting right to the chase huh?" His concern about the little snapshot momentarily forgotten (he'd delete it later... because like hell he'd forget something that atrocious...) he sat back in his seat, face stoic, keeping quiet for a good few moments as if debating whether he should actually take Matthew up on the offer.
He'd say yes, of course. Honestly Lee just was curious about what he'd do upon a not getting a positive response right away. Fiddling with the gloves on his hands, he let the silence hang a little longer, giving the other male a chance to speak before finally leaning forward again, hovering just inches from the others' face, "... I like you, Mattie. You and I are going to have a beautiful friendship." He grinned after that, that stoic expression now long gone, "How about a few drinks first though?"
He sat up straight again, ushering the bartender over for more shots. "I hope you can hold your liquor."

His lips twitched in amusement. "Nowhere close to a lightweight, party boy by occupation when I'm not painting." He winked and smiled confidently, so far he was enjoying this game. His night was gladly turning out better than he thought it would, at the most he thought he'd end up smashed with some new friends. And yet here was a perfectly lovely human being with whom he may copulate possibly. The thought sent shivers up his spine and stirred a warmth deep inside himself that he hadn't felt for a while. Of course he realized he didn't know how this man was used to having sex, but Mattie wasn't into fast paced sex, he liked taking things slow and trying to memorize his partner's body, so he just hoped his plans for the night worked out alright.
He smiled slyly at Lee's shocked expression, and quickly held his camera from his reach. His camera, his rules, and the picture hadn't come out that bad anyway. Though he will admit he leaned forward closer to Lee's face when he tried to snatch the camera, he was appreciating the features of the man he was trying to bed. And hell who knows, maybe if tonight went well enough it could become a more regular thing? "Listen calm down, your pretty face couldn't ever possibly look bad." He winked and sniggered to himself quietly.
A nervous smile replaced the confidence once adorning his face. "I don't like beating around the bush or chasing something I can't obtain. If there's a chance I want to know so I can take it." He didn't mean it to sound insincere or anything like that, but it was true. He'd chased after hopeless cases in the past and it wasn't any fun, the chase was tiresome and he'd wasted all his energy in a lost cause. Putting more effort into something that gave him no results simply annoyed him. Working for something that was pointless.
His face brightened and he leaned forward to quickly smooch his new friend's face. "A long and beautiful friendship it shall be!" He leaned back and messed with his zipper again, glancing at the bartender and beckoning him over. Nothing like a couple of drinks to really get the hormones going. Though he would pretend to drink more than he should, he generally enjoyed being relatively comprehensive when he had sex, made the situation more enjoyable for his partner and in the long run it would make the relationship between the two males better.

Lee let out a small laugh, turning to face Mattie while leaning his weight on the counter. He had to admit, the guy was a curious fellow.
Oh no... Lee don't you go falling for anyone before you even know them, he thought. Perhaps it was a form of desperation, but Lee found his habit of becoming attached to nearly everyone he met rather... pathetic. He wasn't sure why he did this to himself - sleep with random strangers and then hope he might have some chance with them. Especially when he himself was on the brink of flat out not believing in the concept of love. Though... his stupid decisions and frequent one-night-stands certainly didn't help the problem. What the fuck is wrong with m-- well, what the fuck isn't wrong with me? Heh...
His smile sort of lost its shimmer after that. This was the other problem. Even if for some reason he had a shot at anyone... a real shot... he was a fucking mess. Surely that would chase them away when they found out. That was the main reason he acted like such an egotistical asshole most of the time. It was a good cover-up. Most people suspected nothing...
Too late to back out now, though. May as well enjoy it, right? And with that he gave the other male another flirtatious wink and pushed his solemn thoughts away. They'd be back to haunt him tomorrow with a vengeance, but for tonight, he wanted to have fun. He wanted to feel some sort of semblance of affection while he could have it.
Lee licked his lips a the new round of shots came, "Yes! Indeed! Anyone as hot as you is good to have around~" he lifted his glass to Mattie, "Ready?'" He waited for the other male to follow his lead before counting off. A few more shots were already being brought to the table in preparation for what seemed to be a drink-a-thon, "Three... two... one!"
He drowned his shot after that, slamming the glass onto the table before grabbing the next one and doing the same. Three shots... four... five-- all in a row without stopping. Finally, when he couldn't take anymore, he asked for a glass of water. Now all he had to do was wait... and let the drug get to his head.
"Will it be my place or yours?" he asked. A simple question, really, but it probably revealed how ready he was to just go at the guy. Well, what was wrong with that right? Lee was more of a... passionate lover than a sensual one. He was aggressive about it, as most flings called for that sort of behavior.
It was comical, actually, if one thought about it too long. Lee stood at 5'7"... which was painfully short for a full grown male (and believe me, he's not a happy camper when his height gets brought up). The fact that he topped in most sexual encounters was almost always a shock to his interested male suitors.
Tonight though, Lee would be the surprised one. He wasn't used to taking it slow.

"I've been told my fingers were rather.....skilled." He mused with a small smirk on his face as he followed Lee's example and turned himself to face his new friend. He studied the young man for a moment, satisfied by what he saw. He was a subject he'd been searching for, for quite some time now. He had that attractive yet sad quality to him, something Matthew had been searching out and almost finding.
His smile faltered watching the shimmer vanish from his new friend. What deep dark thought is hovering in that pretty head of yours? He was itching to voice his concern, but decided against it last minute. He'd show his concern in other ways, ways he knew much better. He may be a free spirit but he was still more of a lover than a fighter, and damn skilled at it too. He smiled warmly and edged himself forward, pressing his leg into Lee's in a gesture of intimacy.
He grabbed his first shot as it came around, and downed it just after Lee had started. Though watching him he felt the desire to get drunk lessen in him, and felt a more burning desire to make Lee writhe.... With that determination in his mind he winked at the bartender, and received drinks far less potent than Lee's.
Hearing a straightforward question like that, Matthew allowed himself to get lost in one of his stronger urges. He leaned forward, close enough for their noses to brush and his lips to hover just in front of Lee's. "How about mine?" He purred out languidly, his hand resting on the side Lee's face, fingers grazing his jaw. He smiled and tilted his head, nose bumping into his new friend's, and his lips ever so slightly pressing closer. He wouldn't make the first move to kiss him, not yet anyway.

Damn, he hadn't even meant to let his dark thoughts show outwardly, but the guy must have saw some kind of change. The last thing he wanted was Mattie thinking he was having second thoughts about their upcoming rendezvous or something. Of course, had his new friend asked if anything was wrong, then Lee would have lied right through his teeth to cover it up - piece of cake. With a gesture, it was much harder to respond in a way that was a reassurance to the other that he was indeed, fine. Or at least he was forcing himself to be okay. Tomorrow though - that was his worry...
... well he'd cross the bridge when he got there.
The alcohol began to take effect, his mind numbing and his body buzzing with new-found energy. Yes, there was nothing else like liquid confidence. Five shots was enough to get most people his size wasted, but Lee was hardly more than tipsy, it seemed. A stray thought worked its way through the corridors of his subconscious that maybe he ought to talk to a doctor about his drinking, but it fizzled into nothingness almost as soon as it had appeared.
At Lee's question, Mattie leaned forward, right into his face. Really, a guy like Leonardo shouldn't have gotten as flustered as he did by the sudden action... but to be honest he wasn't used to having someone else be just as forward as him. Well, not someone he'd just met anyway. Thankfully, the flushing of his cheeks could easily be overlooked. Most people got rosey colored faces when drunk.
"Hn... Your place sounds good..." he breathed. And then that oh-so-familiar glint returned to his eye, and without warning, he nipped the others' lower lip, playfully growling. "But fair warning... I don't always play nice~" Of course he wouldn't hurt Matthew (unless he was into that, of course) - but a little marking here and there as a souvenir for the world to see.
Well Lee wasn't sure if he could resist that idea.

Lips trembling with anticipation, Matthew smiled wickedly and suddenly stood up. He paid the bar tab and glanced at Lee, waiting for him to get up. He was buzzing with a familiar torrent of hormones, but then he felt another strange but familiar sensation. The pit of his stomach became cold, and his emotions dulled. It was almost as if he was removing his sense of self from the situation, which in reality he was. With a suddenly slightly aloof air he led Lee out the door, taking in the crisp cool air and breathing it in deeply.
The sudden intake made the young man a little giddy, and forgetting his little promise to himself he pressed a sweet kiss onto the lips of the man next to him, grinning before pulling him off again. He nearly got lost, and maybe he had stumbled slightly, but he managed to find his apartment and shove the key in the lock. Walking in he kicked off his shoes and barely allowed time for Lee to enter the door before he pounced.
In a typical display of his affectionate personality he pressed the shorter man against the closed door, one arm resting above his head and the other at his hip. He placed gentle heated kisses up and down his neck and jaw, nibbling on his ear lobe.
