Our story originates in Chicago, a city under the rule of the Italian Mafia. After years of service and a blessing from the De Luca family, the Moretti Crime Syndicate was born with William Moretti as it's leader. Several years later the business was passed through the family and placed in the control of René, William's only son. After years of trouble free business the last thing René Moretti expected was a deal to turn south, let alone to save the life of one, John Cavanaugh only to induct him into the business shortly after holding him under an impressive debt. Our plot begins when a shift in power is forced when René finds himself staring down the barrel of a gun, held by his own son, Kanton as he makes the bold move to claim what he felt was rightfully his. With business already in trouble of collapsing, most of René's employees followed Kanton's rule without question. However, there was a group of the syndicate that refused to acknowledge the shift in power, including Alexander Fisher, René's right hand man and John Cavanaugh. While Fisher broke off to form his own crime syndicate with the intention to bring the Moretti family down, John disappeared off the face of the Earth, leaving his son Henry at Kanton's mercy.

Six years later, Fisher's plan to exact his revenge of Kanton came to a head with the brutal murder of Henry's sister. Fisher's attempt to frame Kanton for the murder was foiled and ultimately lead to his death by Henry's hands. Unbeknownst to all, Henry's actions will set off a chain of events that will threaten Kanton's rule once and for all.
