blow me one last kiss ♔ The sun was shining with a slightly breeze flowing through Benjamin’s hair softly as he walked along the piers. He always did enjoy the beauty of the water as the sun rose softly through the sky. It was a bit early in the morning, the sun almost up from the horizon as Benjamin took a seat at the end of one of the empty piers. He took his sandles off before dipping his feet into the water. He knew there wasn’t many days such as this left, it was now autumn and winter was drawing to a close so he wanted to enjoy it as much as he could.
It was the weekend right at the end of the first week of his senior year at the university. He couldn’t believe that it was his senior year and in just a few short months, he would finally have his bachelor’s degree, the one he’d been working so hard for during the past three years. A soft sigh escaped the rosy lips of the young man as a smile appeared on his face. He knew he was getting much closer to his goal of becoming a singer and all of his hard work would be paid off soon.
He closed his eyes, leaning backwards as he enjoyed the warmth of the sun. Little did he know that soon enough someone would join him as soft footsteps appeared on the pier. However he was too busy daydreaming to take a look and see who it was that was headed in his direction. Not that it mattered who it was to Ben, as he always did try his best to get along with anyone that he crossed paths with.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Matt inhaled deeply and left out a contented sigh as she wandered around. She was mostly just trying to explore the town a bit. She'd been so busy getting her store ready that she hadn't quite found the time to go exploring much so far. It was a quaint little town and charming in its own way. She very much preferred little towns to the hustle and bustle of the big city. If she liked the city she would have stayed in Boston, but that just wasn't the place for her. She could see making a home for herself here.
This was her first trip down to the pier. She had always loved the water and was thrilled that there was a major body of water that allowed the town to have a port. That was one of the reasons why she'd chosen Stony Brook as the place to settle and open a shop. It had a little bit of everything, a forest (which she had yet to explore), a port complete with a charming pier... The place in California where she grew up didn't have anything like that. It was perfect!
As she walked further onto the pier she realized that she wasn't alone. A boy, perhaps a year or so younger than her, was already sitting at the end of the pier. Well, unless the kid was deaf, which was unlikely, then he would already have heard her coming so she couldn't just turn around and disappear now. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize anyone else was here." She said feeling bad for bothering him. He might have come out here to be alone and here she was crashing it.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~CHILLIN WITH?!? Ben WORDS?!? 281 LYRICS?!?
